So...I'm about to buy all the needed materials for a pair of flashy Chaos Gloves, but decided to check and see if they get displayed in the HoM. So far, all the discussion and info in wiki is telling me that only full armor sets can be added. So what does that mean?? Has anyone tried adding their Chaos gloves or other pieces of common armor (glasses, blindfold, etc..) up the tapestry??

If it doesn't work, I think that would be just completely...lame. LoL, what's the point of farming and gathering collectible drops if we can't even carry it over to GW2? It's not exactly like these items are cheap...

Only full sets go onto the Resilence monument. The common pieces will not go in (My Ranger has quite a few of them and none of them are accepted)

You won't be able to carry things into GW2, rather you will get some other item or benefit - the actual item in the HoM is just a show piece for your character's children to gaze in awe at their ancestory.

K so uhm....considering the fact that chaos gloves are just LAME, utterly ugly and all (I mean; special gloves looks good with very little armor COMBINATIONS. U know what? I saw a warrior with 15k kurzick armor and...chaos gloves. Never seen something that BAD), and that a pair of glacial/stone/destroyer gloves are a way better, I don't why you don't like that the HoM does not accept this kind of things. Ok, you saying you want nice things for your efforts in guild wars 2....but, just think about something:
how nice can this "gw2-linked-to-hom-items" be? Just think about collector items. They are crap. The only good item is the hourglass staff that is a nice staff for caster heroes. Then everything sucks. And, anet, always talking about "game balance", why should give gw1 players a way more nice items than newby gw2 players? The only thing you must think about now is: will my character look nice like this? Man have fun! Ah, one more thing: gw2 will come out in 2 years. We must hurry to get full HoM guys! -.-
